Works like a lightning conductor
All Miele cylinder vacuum cleaners have a small metal strip integrated into the handle, which works like a lightning conductor. This prevents static discharge between appliance and user.
Protects furniture and walls
Miele S700, S5 and S8 vacuum cleaners are equipped with an all-round bumper made from soft synthetic material. This protects both furniture and the appliance in the event of accidental collisions.
That is easy on the power supply.
The selected power level is ramped up slowly when Miele vacuum cleaners are switched on. This protects the mains from overload.
Reliable protection against overheating
A temperature limiter protects all Miele cylinder vacuum cleaners from overheating. Should the air passage become blocked – for instance by vacuuming up bulky particles – the motor will automatically shut off for safety’s sake. After the cause of the shut-off has been eliminated and the appliance has cooled off, it is ready again for service.
Incredibly secure with just one click
Floorhead, suction tube and handle lock into each other with an audible fit. The vacuum cleaner’s connection is secure but can be easily disengaged at the touch of a button, for instance for additional vacuuming accessories.
Without inconvenient stooping
The cable for all Miele cylinder vacuum cleaners can be rewound easily with a foot control, without having to stoop. Model series S6 and S8 are also equipped with a touch control function enabling the entire cable to be rewound at the touch of a button.
Always at hand
Miele cylinder vacuum cleaners are equipped with three high-quality, standard attachments: Upholstery nozzle, crevice nozzle and dusting brush with soft natural bristles. They are integrated dust free or – exclusively with Miele – on a Vario clip and are always to hand.
Customized working height for any user
The Comfort telescopic tube with its exclusive Miele design can be intuitively extended to the desired working height and locked into position. The larger diameter increases the airflow volume and so facilitates outstanding cleaning results. Little details, such as a rubber coating on the upper end, are very practical. If the tube is leaned against the wall, it does not slide down.
Easy handling without tedious stooping
The floorhead is simply hooked onto the rear of the vacuum cleaner, leaving the suction tube in a secure and handy working position. Particularly intelligent: The motor is switched off automatically and troublesome stooping is eliminated.
