Over 70 Years of Experience

Back in August 1948, Gerald Giles opened his first electrical retail store in Rose Lane, Norwich.  For over half a century we have prided ourselves on providing expert advice and assistance to the people of Norfolk and across the UK, a service that goes way beyond simply the purchase. We are there to help with delivery, installation and post installation support in the ever increasingly complex world of electrical appliances.

More Choice, Great Prices

Moving from Rose Lane to new larger premises in 2007 on Ber Street, allowed for a more extensive display of the latest home entertainment and kitchen appliances. We are main stockists of Sony, Panasonic, Sonos, Bosch, Neff, Siemens and Miele. In fact we are the only official Miele Centre in East Anglia, something borne out of dealing with Miele for over 50 years. We were one of their first UK stockists back in the 1950s.

In recent years, we have introduced several new well know household brands Dyson, Shark, Bissell and Vax extend our floorcare ranges, whilst KitchenAid, Ninja, Magimix, Nespresso and Dualit keep us busy with food preparation appliances.

Cooking Events

To support our food preparation category, we regularly hold cooking events hosted by local cooks or Miele chefs. They conjure up delicious recipes enabling customers to see many KitchenAid appliances put through their paces, then Miele ovens bake and roast to perfection, followed by the big clean up in the Miele dishwasher!
