Miele KM7474FR 4 Zone Induction Hob
Touch Controls – Intuitive and smart, Miele’s touch control operation allows users to select a zone and then simply choose the required power level. Additional functions such as the lock, the timer function and Stop & Go are also controlled directly by the touch control sensor bank.
Communication with compatible Miele hood: Con@ctivity 3.0 – Achieving optimum extraction of kitchen vapours and odours – while also saving energy: A Miele hob equipped with Con@ctivity 3.0 in combination with a compatible Miele hood does this automatically. Con@ctivity 3.0 gathers information from the hob and transmits it to the controls in the cooker hood. Your Miele cooker hood then uses this data to automatically select the correct fan setting to ensure the optimum room microclimate at all times so you can concentrate completely on the cooking process. You don’t even have to remember to switch off the appliance. With the automatic run-on control, the cooker hood will switch itself off automatically after you have finished cooking so you do not use any more energy than is necessary.
Mobile control with WiFiConn@ct – Wirelessly connect your appliance to the Miele@Mobile app for ultimate flexibility and convenience. Change cooking parameters, stop the programme and use the recipe function to find recipes that help you get the most out of the unique features of your Miele hob.
TwinBooster power output – Miele’s TwinBooster technology offers greater flexibility when cooking as the induction power can be targeted to where it’s needed. When required, the power output of two cooking zones can be combined and used on one single zone for faster heat up times by using the boost function.
Flexible Cooking Zones: PowerFlex – The ability to combine two zones into one, large PowerFlex zone provides ultimate versatility. Once combined, the two zones are operated as one and the unsurpassed speed is unique, with a booster output of up to 7.4 kW. Whether using individual cookware, particularly large pasta pans or oven dishes: they can all be used without a problem.
Auto Heat Up – This automatic setting turns down the heat from its initial power (for fast heating up) to a lower temperature (for further cooking). This way you won’t forget to turn down the heat in time which saves energy and stops food from burning.
Keeping Warm Function – Each zone can be set to ‘keep warm’ where the hob intelligently manages the power output to keep food at serving temperature whilst preventing food from burning.
Permanent Pan Recognition – With permanent pan recognition, the intelligent hob highlights the zones where the pans are placed for quick access to setting the required power. Furthermore, when the pan is removed the power supply is stopped.
Safety Lock – The system lock protects from accidental or unauthorised switching on, by children, for example whilst the safety lock function prevents inadvertent changes to the chosen power levels during cooking.
Stop&Go Memory Function – With the Stop&Go function all cooking zones can be reduced to power level one with the single touch of a button. In this way the hob can be left unattended for a short period without food overcooking or burning. When you return to the hob, the previously set power levels can be reactivated with another touch of the button.
Minute Timer – The hob timer helps to make everyday life in the kitchen more relaxed. For example, you can set the duration for your cooking zones separately so that they switch off automatically or you can use the minute minder independently of the hob functions.
Easy to Clean – Cleaning is particularly easy with induction hobs as the surface remains relatively cool and so food is never burnt on. Miele’s ceramic glass is tough but smooth making overspills and soiling even easier to remove.
Efficient & Safe – Cooking with induction is particularly efficient, as no heat is lost. Power is directed exactly where it’s required: the bottom of the pan and. It is also particularly safe as the ceramic glass remains comparatively cool.
Built-to last: Tested for the equivalent of 20 years’ use – All Miele appliances are tested for the equivalent of 20 years’ use. To meet these high demands, one factory technician assembles the whole appliance from start to finish with their signature in their serial number. Large appliances are delivered by our own delivery teams, installation services can also be selected during the checkout process.
