Yes, it really is that quick! Just remember to put the ice cream maker bowl in the freezer in plenty of time (at least 16 hours or overnight), and you can make your favourite ice creams in less than half an hour(3).

No more grainy, gritty ice cream with this clever ice cream maker. When you’re making ice cream, the faster the mix freezes, the smaller the ice crystals, and the smoother and creamier the results. During churning, the dasher of our ice cream maker rotates to quickly and thoroughly mix, for fast, even freezing. It spreads and scrapes the tiny ice crystals off the walls of the frozen bowl, and incorporates air, to create that thick and dreamy smooth texture.
Easy to clean after the fun
Let’s face it, cleaning up is no one’s favourite thing to do. That’s why we’ve made it as easy as possible. The dasher and the drive assembly are safe to put in the top rack of the dishwasher, and once the freeze bowl has reached room temperature, it can be washed in warm, soapy water. Then you’re all ready for next time.
Before treating yourself to this optional mixer attachment, please check that you can fit the 17.8cm H x 27.9cm W x 21.6cm D freeze bowl in your freezer. By keeping it in your freezer all the time, you can be spontaneous and quickly make frozen desserts on a whim. Not dishwasher safe; clean by hand with warm, soapy water.
The Ice Cream Bowl is compatible with all KitchenAid tilt-head stand mixers except for models 5KSM3. Also compatible with all bowl-lift mixers except for models 5KPM5, 5KPM50 and 5K5.
