The second generation of the classic A1 is packed with new features, such as Alexa and Tencent integration, and an improved interface and yet is even slimmer than before. The same great B&O sound from a stylish and portable speaker continues, making the Beosound A1 2nd Gen the premium portable speaker of choice.

As you’d expect from this legendary Danish brand, the Beosound A1 2nd Gen offers superior sound quality. Packed within the stylish design you’ll find a two-way speaker for a rich, full-bodied sound. Powered by a Class-D, digital amplifier that pushes out no less than 60 watts, the A1 2nd Gen provides room-filling sound. For such a small speaker, the Beosound A1 2nd Gen sounds anything but petite.

Enhanced battery life
With a built-in battery pack, the Beosound A1 2nd Gen is the perfect speaker to take with you. It’s the ideal speaker for music in the garden, camping, festivals or anywhere else where power isn’t readily available. Battery life is up 46% to an incredible 43 hours at background volume (55dB) and still impressive 18 hours at higher (70dB) listening levels.

The beauty of B&O design has always been in detail, and the Beosound A1 2nd Gen is no different. The rounded, anodised aluminium grille doesn’t just look good it also forms a strong, protective shell around the speaker. The Bang & Olufsen branded, leather carry strap is another premium design feature. At just 46mm deep and 558 grammes in weight, the speaker is slimmer and lighter than before, making it even easier to take with you.
Dust and waterproof – IP67 rating
The final improvement made to this impressive speaker is that it’s now IP67 rated. This means that it has passed independent testing to be highly resistant to both dust and water. This makes it the perfect speaker to use on the beach or by the pool, without worrying if it gets splashed with sand or water, or even gets knocked into the pool!
